Dubai's Global Village Season 29 extended: Kids go free, rides for Dh50
Final week promises extended hours, family deals and festive late-night fun
DUBAI: Global Village, the UAE’s premier multicultural destination, has officially announced the extension of its ongoing Season 29 by one week.
Originally scheduled to conclude on May 11, the vibrant outdoor attraction will now remain open until Saturday, May 18, 2025.
The announcement was made via Global Village’s social media platforms, much to the delight of residents and tourists alike.
The message, shared on Sunday, read, “You asked and we delivered! 7 extra days of A More Wonderful World. Season 29 is now extended until 18 May.” The decision follows overwhelming visitor interest and a record turnout on what was expected to be the season’s final day.
Extended timings
In addition to the extension, daily operating hours have also been adjusted. Visitors can now enjoy the destination from 4pm to 1am every day, including weekdays. Previously, the venue closed at midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, reserving the 1am closure for weekends only.
The new schedule allows families and tourists more time to explore over 30 pavilions, each representing different cultures, and to indulge in over 175 rides, games, and attractions. The expanded hours are expected to accommodate a larger turnout during the final week.
End-of-season offers
Sunday, May 11, saw thousands flooding the venue to take advantage of special end-of-season promotions. Among the standout offers were free entry for children under 12 and an unlimited Carnaval rides pass for Dh50, adding to the festive atmosphere.
While last year saw similar promotions extended alongside the season, this year’s update did not confirm whether those offers would remain in place for the added week. A Global Village representative stated that further details will be shared on Monday, leaving many eagerly waiting for updates.

Since launching in 1997 with just a handful of kiosks, Global Village has transformed into one of Dubai’s leading seasonal events. This year’s edition features representation from over 90 cultures, combining entertainment, global cuisine, shopping, and live performances under one massive open-air venue.
The current season began on October 16, 2024, and has already welcomed millions of visitors.
